Peacock

In an original combination of color and shape, this work is defined by the simple touches of color that run through it. But what intrigues and gives it substance are the rounded, eye-shaped designs found on the peacock’s tail, an element of extravagance that defines this bird as a symbol of beauty and protector of love. The mesmerizing colors found on the work peek out from its deep blue highlighting its unique character. Loaded with symbols, the work did not need a complicated representation, the path of simplicity chosen by the author making it a representative and unique element in concept and realization. The matte and velvety structure of the background provides an exceptional support for the chosen symbolism.
