Inside the Solar Flare

Inside the Solar Flare is a remarkable work, which evolves spectacularly from a circular base to an angular edge, in an effusion of intense orange and yellow, highlighted by punctate or linear applications of strong black. The idea captured in this work leads the imagination to the interior of a solar explosion. Through the technique used, the interaction of the colors and the design, which denotes both stability and fluidity, evokes a special force.

Graduating from the Bucharest Academy of Fine Arts in 1991, Nemtoi set out to make his mark on the world of glass art. And with his great skill and singularly unique approach to glassmaking he has certainly achieved that goal.

Nemtoi is especially renowned for his use of colors and the unique marbling effect he creates with multiple layers of molten glass. His exquisite glass art creations including vases, perfume bottles, bowls, candleholders and plates have been displayed in some of the most prestigious galleries and museums in Europe.
